Sensible has been packing the house, so to speak, for their financial planning webinars. Every month, a Sensible team member unravels the financial and bureaucratic knots of Social Security, taxes, the latest regulations, or planning for retirement. Since we’re a competitive bunch, everyone had to know whose webinars were the most popular. Here are the top three webinars for 2023 based on number of registrants.
Number three in our race is The Basics of Estate Planning! In this webinar, Frank Napolitano describes what an estate plan is, what it entails, and why everyone needs one. Frank has not only presented a webinar on estate planning, but he’s also written several articles on the subject. Here, he writes about the basics. Here, he explains how trusts can affect estate plans. And here, he delves into charitable giving and the estate plan. Frank has worked with clients making estate plans for many years and his webinar and articles represent a great deal of research and experience.
If you’ve watched television recently, you’ve no doubt seen the plethora of Medicare ads running during every break. With everyone shouting at you to sign up, investigate supplements, and remember to see if something’s changed since last year, you may wonder where to turn. Rick Fine is the answer. Rick has researched, read, and practically committed the minutia of each Medicare wrinkle to memory. His The ABCs (and Ds) of Medicare is our second-place finisher this year. In this webinar, Rick explains Medicare’s twists and turns with detailed comparisons and personal insight. He has written about Medicare, as well. Here, he writes about some of the material he covers in his webinar. And here, he expounds on Medicare in a seven-part series! Rick has put in a lot of time on Medicare, and these meticulously written and presented pieces are the proof.
The most popular webinar is…
Drum roll, please…The most popular Sensible Financial webinar of 2023 is The Top Ten Principles of Financial Planning! Rick Miller gives an overview of the many aspects of building and maintaining a financial plan. He structured this presentation as a sort of survey course of financial planning for those new to the subject and as a refresher for seasoned pros. It was extremely popular and, as in all Rick’s webinars, educational. Rick writes articles as well. His most recent, The Fed, Inflation, Interest Rates, Unemployment, and Everything Else is a continuation of his series on banking.
The entire Sensible team helps to write, edit, and opine on these articles and webinars. Every article by a team member has (at least) three others weighing in on its facts, clarity, and syntax. Any victory for Rick, Frank, and Rick is a victory for the whole team. That said, congrats, Rick Miller, Frank Napolitano, and Rick Fine for the top three webinars of 2023!
