Brendan “Gyb” Spilsbury

Gyb joined Sensible Financial in 2018 as an Associate Financial Advisor. He supports advisors and senior advisors in researching and analyzing information to help clients make the most of their financial portfolios. Primarily, this means helping to create detailed financial plans and enabling clients to navigate their financial lives. Gyb finds client work rewarding. Perhaps it’s his background as an Eagle Scout that makes helping people so important to him.

Gyb earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Union College in Schenectady, New York. He is in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification program at Boston University where he plans to earn his CFP® certification.

In his spare time, Gyb enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors, particularly on New England’s beautiful lakes and mountains. He also loves watching football and rooting for the Patriots.

Chris Andrysiak Sensible Financial

Chris Andrysiak

Prior to joining Sensible Financial in 2017, Chris Andrysiak was a Senior Vice President at Fidelity Investments, where he worked for 18 years in various management roles. His career also includes positions at Braxton/Deloitte Consulting and Goldman Sachs. At Fidelity, Chris helped the company understand the financial needs of individuals and families, and how financial advisors work with those clients. He also was involved in creating, managing, and marketing an array of financial products and services.

At Sensible Financial, Chris works with clients to help them decipher the financial offerings available to them, and to make financial choices that help them achieve their goals. In addition, as Senior Director of Strategy, Chris helps Sensible Financial navigate the changing environment, and ensure that the firm is well-positioned to meet the needs of its clients.

Chris earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from MIT, and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He has also earned the Boston University Center for Professional Education Certificate in Financial Planning.

Chris serves as a volunteer on three boards, his local Little League Baseball organization, his local church, and the Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA.

In his spare time, Chris plays many different sports, and coaches youth sports. In addition, he and his family enjoy exploring the national parks, and gardening in their back yard.

Edward Samp

Edward Samp

Edward Samp joined Sensible Financial® in 2016 as an Investment Operations Specialist. He works closely with advisors to formulate, implement, and monitor investment strategies. He standardizes processes, streamlines operations, and devises firm-wide portfolio management policies. He regularly carries out ad-hoc projects for advisors and clients. Prior to joining Sensible Financial, Edward worked in investment operations at U.S. Wealth Management.

Edward graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University in 2014 with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. He is a CFA® Charterholder. This professional designation involves passing three rigorous examinations and takes four years on average to complete. It is widely considered the gold standard for investment management and analysis.

Edward is a former pitcher in the Yawkey Baseball League of Greater Boston. He is a huge Red Sox fan. He enjoys playing the saxophone, chess, Boggle, and snowboarding. He also volunteers for FRIENDS: The National Association of Young People Who Stutter.

Chuck Luce

Chuck Luce joined Sensible Financial® in 2015 as an Associate Financial Advisor. Chuck brings experience in information management, insurance and financial planning administration. Prior to joining Sensible Financial, Chuck worked for State Street in Boston where he focused on fixed income accounting. Chuck earned a B.A. in Economics from Northeastern University and is currently enrolled in Bryant University’s Certificate in Financial Planning program.

Volunteering his time is important to Chuck. He has participated in many fundraising events including those for the Greater Boston Food Bank and Project Bread. Chuck was born in Costa Rica and enjoys traveling to Central America and Europe. He is an amateur angler and hopes to catch the “big one” every summer. Most of all, Chuck and his wife enjoy spending time with their two children.

Laura Williams

Laura joined Sensible Financial® in 2014 as an Financial Advisor working with the team to develop financial plans. Laura earned her B.S. in finance from Bentley University, graduating in the spring of 2014. She also obtained her Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University in 2017. Laura is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

At Bentley, Laura focused on finance and financial planning. She covered many topic areas used in financial plan development including cash flow, income tax, insurance, investments, and estate planning. Prior to joining Sensible Financial, Laura worked as an intern at RBC Wealth Management assisting financial advisors in creating investment plans.

Working at Sensible Financial, Laura especially enjoys helping clients reach their goals and understand the financial implications of various life decisions.

Away from the office, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling. She is also a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.

Josh Trubow

Josh Trubow

Josh Trubow joined Sensible Financial® in 2011 as an Investment Operations Analyst. Prior to joining Sensible Financial he worked as an associate at a tax accounting company helping individuals and small businesses prepare and file their taxes. Josh has volunteered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and is passionate about helping to give back to his community.

Josh earned both a B.A. in Finance and an M.S. in Financial Planning from Bentley University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Certificant and an active member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

Josh is a soccer enthusiast (he played at Bentley) and enjoys playing in his free time. Along with soccer, Josh is also a Boston sports fan and tries to catch games at the Garden whenever possible.

Frank Napolitano

Prior to joining Sensible Financial® in 2012, Frank worked as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He advises clients on a wide variety of issues, including asset and risk management, estate planning and retirement income planning. A collaborative professional, he works closely with attorneys and tax accountants to help clients fully execute their financial plans.

Frank has a B.A. from Harvard University and a J.D. in Business and Financial Law from Boston University School of Law. Committed to bringing an academically rigorous approach to his clients’ issues, he is both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant and a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder. Frank is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and the National Association of Divorce Professionals.

In addition to his work at Sensible Financial, Frank enjoys classical music (he is a classically trained singer), travel (he has lived and studied abroad in Europe), and tennis. Frank is an occasional bird brain who volunteers at Free Flight, a non-profit exotic bird sanctuary in Del Mar, California.

Frank lives in San Diego, CA.
