Operations Analyst and Assistant Trader
Marina Cekani joined Sensible Financial as an Operations Associate in 2020. She has long understood the correlation between financial security and personal satisfaction and was looking for a company that had the same philosophy.
Marina studied Economics at Worcester State University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree. Prior to joining Sensible Financial, Marina worked at Wells Fargo Advisors for over four years as a Registered Client Associate. Before Wells Fargo, Marina began her career in the insurance industry at a firm in Worcester, MA. She joins the Sensible team with six years of experience in the financial service and insurance industries under her belt.
Marina believes financial planning plays a key role in an individual’s long-term happiness. When people feel secure financially, they can focus on their families, careers, and long-term goals. She has enjoyed spending time and working with the advisors. “I’ve learned so much from them,” Marina says. “Studying is one thing but sitting down and listening to an experienced financial planner like Rick or Josh really makes a difference.”
In addition to her work, Marina enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She and her husband have visited over 20 countries together, and they also enjoy day trips throughout New England. Marina and her husband are the proud parents of a bright and active toddler daughter. They hope she enjoys traveling as much as they do.
