Josh Trubow, MSFP, CFP ® recently earned the position of Senior Financial Advisor at Sensible Financial Planning and Management. Josh, a graduate of Bentley University, joined Sensible Financial in 2011 as an Investment Operations Analyst. In 2013 he transitioned to working with and advising clients as an Associate Financial Advisor. Within a few years Josh became a Financial Advisor, lending his increasingly impressive experience and expertise to both his clients and colleagues. On weekends, Josh volunteered his time helping people prepare their taxes with the organization, VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). At Sensible, Josh is fast becoming the go-to team member for tax-related questions.
According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the average person stays at the same company for 4.2 years. Josh has been with Sensible Financial for nine.
When asked what has kept him here for so long, Josh says “It’s the collegial atmosphere. Working with this group means I’m always learning, and I get to see clients make real progress toward their goals. It’s very fulfilling.” Josh looks forward to many more years of helping clients at Sensible Financial, “I’ve been working toward this for years and it feels great. I look forward to continuing to work with existing and new clients as the senior member of the team.”
In his spare time, Josh, his wife Rachel, and their 2-year-old dog Stella, enjoy spending time outside, hiking and exploring. Josh is also an avid fan of the English Premier League (soccer) and is eagerly awaiting a return to normalcy so he can cheer on his favorite team, Arsenal.
Josh Trubow was born in Boston, grew up in Newton, went to college in Waltham, and has, for the past nine years, worked in Waltham. While he hasn’t moved far physically, he’s come a long way.
