There are two new faces on the Sensible Financial team. Marie St. Clare and Nicholas (Nic) Rosa join the firm this month as Associate Financial Advisors.
Marie St. Clare is originally from Boulder Colorado but came east for school. She graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in American Studies and considered becoming a teacher before she began investigating the financial planning field. Pretty soon, she was sold.
Marie looks forward to helping clients ease financial stress
Marie began taking classes at Boston University and is on track to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She also participated in the Financial Planning Association’s Virtual Externship program. Marie is animated when she talks about the life-changing aspects of financial planning. “I’m looking forward to providing financial peace of mind to clients every day. It’s exciting.”
Marie’s desire to help clients achieve their goals and live happier, stress-free lives aligns perfectly with the Sensible philosophy.
In her spare time, Marie enjoys listening to classical music, tennis, hiking, and reading.
To Nicholas Rosa, a career in financial services was less of a surprise. Nic graduated from Bentley University with a B.S. in Finance and a master’s in Financial Planning. During his senior year, Nic took a Psychology of Finance class and was hooked. The more he learned about financial planning, the more he looked forward to working with clients as a financial advisor.
Nic felt a connection with the Sensible team
All he needed to do was find a team whose philosophy meshed with his. He researched while he was in school and found Sensible Financial. “When I looked at Sensible’s website and read about their values, I saw myself working there. Then I met the team (virtually) and felt a real connection.”
When asked about interviewing for and beginning a position virtually, Nic says, “It’s a different experience. Now that I’ve met the other financial advisors, I want to be in the office with them to interact in person. We have frequent video meetings though and that’s been great.”
Nic is learning as much as he can from the team and starting work toward his CFP® Certification. When he’s not at work, Nic is a big sports fan and participant. He plays soccer and roots for the Brazilian National team, the Boston Celtics, and the New England Patriots.
