If you are keeping up with the latest Sensible Financial news, you probably know we celebrated a milestone last year. It was our 20th anniversary. We marked the occasion by reaching out to longstanding clients, holding a reception, publishing tips from our advisors, and creating a 20th anniversary logo.
We began the revelry by modifying our Sensible logo and adding a little numerical flair.
Sensible Financial tips
Then, Marie St. Clare had a great idea. She would solicit financial tips from members of the team and publish them in a series of articles. It worked out so well that Marie wrote three articles with 22 tips! If you’re curious, the articles are here, here, and here.
20th anniversary gala at the Lyman Estate
We wanted to do something special for our clients, so we held a reception at the Lyman Estate in Waltham. The home, a beautifully maintained example of the Federal style, has hosted weddings, historical tours, and even Hollywood stars as it served as a setting in the 2019 production of Little Women.
Clients and advisors met, many for the first time, learned about the house’s history, listened to music, and enjoyed a delicious dinner. It was a lovely evening and a wonderful way to commemorate 20 years of relationships with our clients.
Learning about our clients
The anniversary also offered us the chance to connect with many of our longstanding clients in another way. We reached out to a few to hear how they came to Sensible Financial in the first place. We interviewed the Craigs about how their advisors helped unravel Grace’s father’s financial assets after he passed. Sue Reynolds discussed her trust in the team and how much she appreciates their attention to detail. The Lakes discussed planning their retirement with Sensible and how working with their advisors helps Rachel Lake sleep better. It was gratifying to hear that what we do positively impacts the people we do it for.
We enjoyed reminiscing and connecting in new ways this year. We look forward to many more years working and celebrating with the clients, colleagues, and friends who have made it all possible.
