At Sensible Financial, providing an inviting space for our clients and employees is a high priority. Working in or visiting comfortable and attractive surroundings inspires creativity and helps foster a positive attitude. The deCordova Museum’s Corporate Art Loan Program offers us the opportunity to display beautiful pieces from New England-based contemporary artists. This fall, we chose a new set of paintings to complement our Waltham Watch Factory offices. Here’s the first one you’ll see as you enter our suite.
We selected four pieces from over one thousand available pieces of artwork, based on visual aesthetics, theme, dimensions, and color scheme.
One of the joys of bringing these works to our space is watching the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum team members install the artwork. These are museum pieces and only experienced fine art professionals can move them. It’s like getting a backstage pass to the museum.
Our clients have provided great feedback over the years and are pleased with the look of our offices. We borrow the paintings for one year at a time, but we can request an extension (subject to artist approval).
We’ve enjoyed working with the deCordova Museum as part of this program. We’re convinced that we work better together and with our clients, in a beautiful environment.
