There’s a new member of staff behind the front desk at Sensible; welcoming clients, answering queries over the phone — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Let’s meet Erica Sibley.
Erica Sibley is a Massachusetts native through and through. She grew up in the Boston area, and after gaining her degree in criminal justice from Northeastern, she stayed in Boston, living in both Somerville and Woburn. She recently moved her young family to the suburbs, and now lives in Chelmsford. Her interesting choice of study was sparked by a childhood ambition to join the FBI, which has transformed into a less dangerous hobby of enjoying crime shows on TV.
Erica’s position at Sensible is multi-faceted. The majority of her time is spent as executive assistant to founder, Rick Miller; helping organize paperwork, calendars, and Rick’s office life generally. She brings with her over ten years of experience as an executive assistant, the most recent seven of which she spent at a local consulting firm. In addition to providing high-level support to Rick, her duties also include maintaining the smooth running of the office by organizing and overseeing operations and procedures.
Erica loves to cook, a love that runs through the generations in her family and its strong Italian roots. She continues the family tradition of making “Sunday sauce” every week. She and her husband are also adventurous foodies — balancing out the traditional with outings to new restaurants whenever they can manage.
Erica harbors a soft spot for a certain mouse and his buddies — “I am a Disney FAN-atic! I like to go at least once a year. I listen to Disney podcasts and try to stay current with all the happenings!” She has some excellent tips on how to get the best bang for your buck when visiting “the happiest place on earth”.
When they are not in Florida paying homage at Cinderella’s castle, Erica and her family love nothing more than to spend summer weekends on Cape Cod, making the most of the beach before returning to normal life during the week.
Erica describes herself as a ‘fair weather’ sports fan, which means she has a lot to celebrate living in ‘Title Town’.
