Did you hear us on WGBH, one of Boston’s public radio stations? Sensible Financial is proud to support public radio – a great source of news and information.
Listen for our underwriting announcements this week. They will air during Morning Edition, Boston Public Radio, afternoon drive and over the weekend.
You can also see and hear us on the station’s website, wgbh.org. If you talk to us, let us know that you heard about Sensible Financial on WBGH.
Furthermore, if you receive WGBH’s electronic newsletter, look for our presence there as well.
Download our free e-book
In conjunction with our WGBH campaign, we are offering a free copy of our e-book, Sensible Financial Planning: A Lifetime Approach to Financial Peace of Mind. The book walks readers through seven different “life phases”. The life phases range from school to late retirement. It also addresses various issues that are common to most people, such as living within your means. The e-book can help you as you start to think about your financial plans (during any phase.) You can download your own copy by filling out the form below.
Why is Sensible Financial supporting public radio?
National Public Radio (NPR) member stations like WGBH receive a large portion of their budgets from individuals through on-air pledge drives and corporate underwriting. They need corporate supporters in order to deliver great news and cultural programming.
NPR stations are mission-driven. They are focused on educating their listeners and creating a “more informed public”. A more informed public is good for us all. We often listen to NPR and we know many of our clients do as well. You can listen to NPR stations online and via podcasts as well as through more traditional radio.
