CFA® Charterholder - Associate Portfolio Manager and Senior Trader
Edward Samp joined Sensible Financial® in 2016 as an Investment Operations Specialist. He works closely with advisors to formulate, implement, and monitor investment strategies. He standardizes processes, streamlines operations, and devises firm-wide portfolio management policies. He regularly carries out ad-hoc projects for advisors and clients. Prior to joining Sensible Financial, Edward worked in investment operations at U.S. Wealth Management.
Edward graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University in 2014 with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. He is a CFA® Charterholder. This professional designation involves passing three rigorous examinations and takes four years on average to complete. It is widely considered the gold standard for investment management and analysis.
Edward is a former pitcher in the Yawkey Baseball League of Greater Boston. He is a huge Red Sox fan. He enjoys playing the saxophone, chess, Boggle, and snowboarding. He also volunteers for FRIENDS: The National Association of Young People Who Stutter.
