Aimee Plouffe Polley

This is a picture of Aimée Plouffe.

CFP® - Financial Advisor

Aimee Plouffe Polley is a Financial Advisor with a CFP® certification.

Aimee graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and a minor in accounting. She started her career as a supervising bank teller and then landed a hotel management position in Boston. Although she enjoyed the work, she searched for a different path that would still allow her to indulge her love of numbers.

At her next position, in a financial planning firm, Aimee’s desire to learn impressed the staff. A senior advisor mentored her, encouraging her to learn more about the financial planning field. She studied financial plans and how to create them. Soon, she was hooked. Aimee attended Bryant University, taking the classes that led to her earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ credential.

While studying financial planning, Aimee found herself wondering how non-financial planners manage their savings themselves. “It’s so complex. How do people do this on their own?” That’s when she fell in love with the idea of helping people reach their financial and personal goals. “We had a client who was still working full-time well into his 70s. We made him a plan and it changed his life. He was able to slow down with confidence.”

Aimee is happy to have found Sensible Financial. “I never wanted to work at a big brokerage firm. Sensible is a great size. It’s big enough so I can work with different advisors, but small enough that I can still have personal relationships with clients.”

Aimee is originally from Vermont. When she’s not back there visiting family and friends, she enjoys cooking, baking, hiking with her dog, Molly, and cheering on the Bruins.
