Josh Trubow Takes Parental Leave

by

August 11, 2021

Sensible Financial is a data-driven company with financial advisors who research, crunch numbers, and weigh options logically before making decisions or recommendations. It’s also a company run by people who care about their clients and employees.

Josh Trubow, a Senior Financial Advisor who has been with Sensible since 2011, cites this as one of the reasons he enjoys his work so much. “We all work hard, but we have families, too. Sensible’s policies support that.”

As Josh’s clients already know, he will be out of the office for nine weeks on parental leave. He and his wife, Rachel, are expecting their first child in August of 2021. It’s an exciting time for the young couple and their dog, Stella, who’s probably wondering what all the fuss is about. They’re nearly ready for the baby’s arrival. Both Josh and Rachel have cousins, nephews, and nieces with children, so the nursery is well-stocked with new and pre-loved baby items.

Josh’s clients will miss him, but they won’t miss getting sound advice or counsel from their financial advising firm. “Sensible has solid standard practices in place,” says Josh. “We work in teams and keep thorough records when we work with clients. That way, another advisor can step in if someone is out.”

It’s that system that enables a valuable member of the Sensible team to take a vacation, care for a loved one, or welcome a child while the business continues seamlessly. It’s also that system that keeps talented advisors like Josh at Sensible.

Boy or girl?

When asked whether the Trubows expect a boy or a girl, Josh says, “It’s going to be a surprise — even for us. We are excited either way.” Josh thinks it will be a boy; Rachel thinks it will be a girl.

Well, Rachel was right! The Trubows welcomed a healthy baby girl. Baby, Mom, and Dad are doing great!

Josh is looking forward to spending time with the new edition to his family. He’s also happy the Sensible team supports that.
