The professionals who prepare your financial plan will deliver it to you. We believe that you get more out of the plan when you can meet with and ask questions of those who understand it best – those who designed and wrote the plan, and those who did the supporting analysis.

If you retain us to manage your assets, your investment advisor will not call you with "hot" investment ideas, invite you to lunch or suggest a round of golf. There is no evidence security price increases or decreases are predictable – we view our role as keeping your investment costs down and your portfolio diversified – not picking stocks. And, while we enjoy lunch and golf as much as the next person, we know that if we do these activities on your time, you end up paying for them. We don’t think that makes much sense, since we doubt they improve your portfolio’s performance.

We chose our firm name, Sensible Financial Planning and Management, very carefully. We have designed our approach to be Sensible. We hope that you agree.
